FYI, an LS ain't all that luxury either. Better than a lot of entry level economy vehicles, but I wouldn't call it "luxury"(even though lincoln did). At least the gen 1's. Fake wood, no hand stitched leather, etc.

Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. (If either of the solenoid coils shorts out you will get an error. If the valves just stick open or closed, you won't get an error.)

my newish cabin air filter has separated from the trim, DON'T BUY FRAM anyways i think it was suffocating the system, i went with a new Motorcraft filter and it blows ice cubes.
 
Can someone actually answer the question that whatsupadrian has? I would but I am not familiar with the DCCV. If I remember correctly the DCCV is a control valve in the engine cooling system? Is that right?
