A/C not blowing out of vents

If you have defrost and no vents it could be the vac line that runs across the top of the motor. I have a 94 and fixed it twice now, same vac line.

chargerxr - Air only blows out of the floor vents and the defrost. Last year as long as you were going a long distance then it would finally cool the car off. But now it blows cool and then blows hot then cool then hot. BTW - Mine is 2005 LS V6. It is currently out of service right now! :'( I MISS MY CAR!!!

P.S. I'm looking to sell it.. I can't get it figured out and I don't have the money to take it to a shop and spend thousands of dollars. The gas pedal won't work. It doesn't rev up when pushed while in park. It does however excel by itself when put in drive and will move on a flat surface. Prob wouldn't make it up a hill or anything but it has some sort of acceleration of its own but NOTHING when you push the accelerator

Sanmel1029, what are your exact symptoms, as there are a few different problems with the 2nd gen systems. I had an evergreen 97 last summer that I sold to a lady have the exact same problem as covshark on here. I figured out what was wrong, but it's not an easy fix. Hopefully yours is different.

I was talking strictly about a Mark VIII. I don't know about an LS. I try to never work on those things. Enough said. Chris2523 might know, as he works on one occasionally. Otherwise I would ask in the LS section.

the LS doesn't have a "blend door" like the mark VIII. it has a DCCV, a dual climate control valve instead. they do go bad fairly occasionally.
the LS also eats COPs quite regularly. causing all kinds of problems. including electrical interference that messes with the drive by wire throttle system.

also yes, you should take this problem to the LS side of the forum.
