Went to the Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealer to pick up some touch up paint and it's disappointing to see all those MKZ's out in the front so I drove around back to see if they had any LS's and on my way back I drive through the service area parking lot and see nearly 90% LS's in there. A grand marq, SVT Lightning, a newer F-150 and nearly 20 LS's, none for sale....all being serviced. No used LS's either. Salesman asks me if he can help me, my reply; "Not unless your going to put a V8 in the MKZ or bring back the LS and make a Mark IX while your at it." His reply; "Well, the MKZ is a quick little car." Since when are Lincolns supposed to be quick and little? I like my Lincolns big and powerful.

I also noticed alot of LS's in the service area on my recent visits. This was a Lincoln dealer, saw some mercury's and i think a mustang but alot of LS's of various years. I pondered that for alittle bit and it concerned me that my model has the most "service" vehicles. I'm sure some may have been in for an oil change or something but with my experience i'll bet most had all sorts of issues.

weird...

not discrediting your posts, but when I go into the dealership for any service I never notice any LSs only mercurys and jags (mostly jags). as for the lincolns i'd have to say it is mostly town cars. from y'alls posts though it makes me worry too.

saw no jags there strangely. and ironically mine will be sitting there this wednesday for service. second time in for a loud squeaking noise.

what sucks is Lincoln needs to NAME THEIR CARS
the zephyr was a very cool name, instantly recognizeable
but the LS was a great idea, midsize luxury sport sedan, a great car that if they do right they could sell again

20 Lss in one place? Ironic that it is a service lot, but I've never seen more than a couple in the same place at once lol

there were a lot. they seem to be popular around me. mostly 00-02's. ive seen a handful of 03+'s around here. girl in my development has a nice black 01 with blade grey wheels and spoiler.

Here in Orlando there are LS's everywhere, and i mean everywhere. Probably see atleast half a dozen everyday. Not too long ago i pulled up to a light, it was a three lane road and all three cars at the light were LS's. It seemed like a commercial or something... my black '05 , a light green '03+ and a black '00-'02. I have also seen alot of modded LS's. Someone around my neighborhood has a white '06 with a mclaren grill that has a black center and white surround, looks pretty sharp with dark windows. I have seen a few carriage tops too. Just havent seen any of the special edition SS models. Central Florida Lincoln/Mercury ALWAYS has a bunch of LS's in their service department, both in the shop and parked out back. Here is a LS i took a picture of while sitting at a light. Its not for me but it honestly didnt look too bad with the cloth top.

Hey florida IS the retirement capital and Lincoln and Buick seem to be the choice of car among the elders. Which can be good since they buy them new, baby them, and then we can get a decent used one off of them.

I went to my dealer for 50K service, a few LS's were for service. I was surprised that a lot of MKZ's were sitting in the lot. Most of them had inspection stickers 2-3 mos on them. I see a lot more LS's on the road. I see maybe 2 MKZ's a week.
I went to the Ford dealer a couple of days ago to have my Ranger's oil changed. I walked thru the lot and to tell you the truth, not one Ford product caught my eye. I couldn't have cared less for any of their products. I now am coming to the conclusion that after 39 yrs I am no longer a Ford man. The Fusion doesn't appeal to me, nor does the 500, Windstar etc etc etc.
My wife took a ride in my sister's CTS and now she wants one. The LS is gone and replaced by a FWD made in Mexico.

yeah the only ford id ever consider again would be an f150 or 03-04 cobra
