A Very Special Small Fleet

[97 Octane]

Happy to be part of a special small fleet of fine white Gen2 on Speedstars.

A few of these have changed hands and passed on. There is another one
missing from this group. I need help finding a picture from the one in Florida.


There may be another one somewhere that I don't know about.
It would be so cool to see if there are more-of from this small group
within our small community.



Each car is as unique as its own history and its evolution yet share a look
that some may consider to be the best of the Mark series.

To the visitors browsing this site and are unfamiliar with Mark VIII's: These
cars never came from the factory this way. Below are a few pictures I compiled

The 3 pictures above of my car is the first time ever shown in full view
in its lowered stance with the new Speedstars on 275/40-18s Nittos. It was taken
with my cell phone camera. Better pics will be taken soon with my other camera.

Nice pics but I don't like the out of focus look around the edges mainly cause it blurs the cars.
Also I can't have a club like this mine is a one off color.

and was considering getting Speedstars for his car.

I didn't want to alienate the owners so I went ahead and shown the pics
anyway with their names to their credit. I'd like to add more shots of the
cars from different angles whenever you have more to share.

I love what you all have done to your cars. Mine is nowhere near the level
as some of yours but it would definitely be nice to see someone else post
fleet pics. I got the inspiration to do this from a combination of
Bills, LaserSVT, Mark VIII on Speedstars thread and our calendar issue.

Yes Ren, I still have it and don't plan on selling it in the near future. Thanks for the compliment! I also was inspired by Bill's car. Before installing the wheels, I didn't really recieve any compliments on it. Now I can't take it anywhere without a thumbs up at a traffic light or a conversation in a parking lot.

Added a few more pics of Rich's (My Great 8) '97. Rich, I took out the
tow hitch on one of your pic so you won't get any flak from anyone.

I also took out a couple of light poles from the other pic to make the car
stand out better.

Nio problem Ren. I got flack the first time Jamie posted those pics. When I drove up to him to purchase the rims, I towed my small utility trailer to bring my 10 spokes home. The hitch really comes in handy sometimes.
