I have an 06 ls that is pushing out hot air on both sides. On vacation in a tiny town. Dropped it off at a Chevy dealer to check the Suva levels. He said they were fine but there was a blown fuse. Replaced it and the compressor still will not turn on. I have the sequence for the self diagnosis at home on my desktop.

Two questions. Will the DCCV keep the compressor from coming on?

Can someone reply with the self diagnosis sequence please?

Other thoughts are welcome as it is suppose to be well over a 100 and we are in a black on black car.

Note: the seats don't cool either

Thanks

The mechanic found these codes..... B2797, B2798, B2799. going out now to confirm these codes.

To retrieve continuous DTCs, press the OFF and DEFROST buttons simultaneously, followed
by pressing the RECIRC button within 2 seconds.

Your DCCV maybe causing the fuse to blow prior to allowing the condensor or clutch to kick in.

I don't remember if the seat cooling is part of the regular cooling or not.

From what I've read, the seat cooling is completely independent of the climate control system.

The only code I found both when using the "Auto" and the "Recirc" buttons was 2798. I did not attempt to turn on the A/C prior to doing the self diagnosis.
