AC - Very cold but....

it is only very cold. IE, it only wants to kick on when I drop it down to 60. As soon as I attempt to raise the temp, it goes hot. DCCV? I have no idea... I can live with it but the woman gets cold and I have to hear about it....

sounds like this is your cheapest fix.

It could be the climate control head or the wiring, but it is most likely to be the DCCV. I think it would be a pretty safe bet to replace it.

Funny as H*&* but...

I wouldn't do it (I am married - to a woman in the legal profession). I am thinking I will dive into the DCCV as it hasn't been replaced yet. May wait until it quits altogether, though. That might be one heckuva gamble in this South Florida heat but we'll see. Thanks for the input...
