Accel 420005 coils

Anyone have any history with using these ? Also, does the 4.6 Ford share the same coil connector as the 3.9 Jag ?

The connector is the same, but the polarity is reversed.
Jaguar doesn't have a 3.9, their version was a 4.0 and later 4.2.

I almost didn't bother saying this, but I'll do it one more time: The LS so far does not get along well with aftermarket coils. At risk is your PCM.

Thanks for the info. Looks like the Accel's are China made as well. I wonder sometimes if quality control are any different than a $50 set of 8 lol If they can't back them with a lifetime warranty or at least 5 years then most likely re-branded cheapo's like the rest.

Have had Accel coils in my '02 V8 since 2007. Use them to fire the regular mix, and, when racing, a load of c116 through the injectors and a 150 HP spray of nitrous oxide and methanol. No problems of any kind.

I've had them in my 02 V8 Sport for 1 1/2 years now. At 236k miles. No problems. Felt better too.
