Addition of the park assist

Okay, I beat up the search function, and came back empty handed...

Anyone ever try to add the factory park assist to their 06 LS when it didn't have it? I'm looking at a car that doesn't have it and wondering how tough it would actually be to add the factory system, or go aftermarket, or just forget about it.

The 2000 is getting tired, and an E55 is too much money, so an 06 is in my future...

My 06 has the feature, and I don't find it all that useful. There are some blind spots in its coverage, and it cries "wolf" too quickly in my opinion.

I put an after market system on my 2000 LS quite a few years ago. Still works well, though not as well as the factory system on our '06.

I agree. If you're going to spend the time and money try for the camera first.

I have an after market one that works really well butn i hate the sensors on the bumper i would like to get rid of it but would need i new bumper
