Aftermarket Headunit vs Stock - (Got the JBL Factorys)

I read that it's bad for amps to be mounted upside down because something about the cooling system isint designed to function that way. This could of been bs but I'm just passing it on
 
Gotcha, I was just putting it out there thay way someone wouldnt cause some damage to their equipment.

I'll check it out and see. I'm going to mount them to the floor not actually the package tray, though. I may end up with a single 10" application, I have a closet full of PPI art series amps, and an a600 on one 10 would be stompin.
 
I have been thinking about putting an Alpine IVA-W205 into my double din spot. It's a nice unit and will let me put my Alpine Blackbird GPS into the unit so the GPS works on it's touch screen.

However I do not want to have to re-wire the car at this point in time. As I used to install in the 90's I looked up one of the better interface companies PAC and they have some great stuff set up for plug n play for all the factory High End systems.
