Does anyone have an aftermarket or OE replacement steering wheel in their Lincoln LS? I want to do this to my 2006 LS, but looking for some information on it. Mine is getting worn out! Please advise.

As long as you don't mind the increased risk of death or serious injury without an airbag.

My 71 ford truck, the continental I'm buying and the Galaxie don't have them...

I think I'll do okay, I mean how did people survive all these years

\\end sarcasm\\

Car wrecks were less survivable then. Personally, I'm all for progress and safety improvements.
Far fewer people die per mile driven now than did thirty years ago.

(Yes, of course you can do without airbags or even seat belts if you want to. It's your choice, but don't fool yourself. You are reducing your chances to survive a crash.)

let me know for sure, I am very interested in reducing the chance that I survive a crash apparently, and obviously would not understand risks with out another person telling me.

The only airbags I would ever think about removing are the very early ones. Especially from Ford.

I've been in a crash involving newer side curtain and frontal airbags. Amazing stuff, I shouldn't have walked away from that.

So no one has an aftermarket steering wheel or know the best place to purchase a recovered one?

Just got a nice aftermarket one today. Does anyone know what car we share the steering column with? I'm having a hard time finding definitive proof outside of ebay drop downs saying what it matches with. Looks like a first gen LS might share the column/spline with a 4th gen Mustang.

Aftermarket from where?
