Air Suspension Troubles

Came back from a 4 day vacation a couple weeks ago pulled up to the driveway to realize the backend of my 96 was sitting on the ground. I started it up and it went right back to normal height and when i shut it off it went back down to regular parked height. Came out this morning and saw the same thing. The car had sat from about 5pm sunday to 11am tuesday morning and the back end was on the ground again. Has anyone ever had this problem and know what i can do about it?

You have a leak somewhere in the rear of your car.

No. This problem has never happened before ever. How is it even possible for the rear to do that? As if its springs were made from rubber and filled with air and somehow leaked like through something impossible like a crack in the rubber. Cause as we all know rubber never gets old and cracks, right?

I assumed it was a leak. LaserSVT would you know if this is something I can just patch up if the rubbers cracking and what I would use for it or am I gonna need to replace the entire bag thats leaking if thats what it is?

replace the rear bags. watch the fronts. they are probably not too far behind.
we prefer OEM front struts here, but for the back, many people (including me) have good experience with arnott or suncore or whatever. they just won't last as long as OEM.

you guys might as well tell him to fix it right away, before he burns up his compressor and doesn't want to put forth the effort the next time to look around a little.

Fix it the right way before you burn your compressor.

Rear bags are $200 or less a pair and will last another 10 years. Seems pretty much any brand is fine. You will get the best service (so I am told) from Eddie at American Air.

Dont put tire slime in them.
