With Festivus just around the corner I thought I would share my Festivus pole. You're welcome to air your grievances as well :).

Is that a doughnut holder?

I just eat 'em straight out the box any more.

You know, honey dips, chocolate glazed

Had a problem with the cream filled ones though :D

It's made from aluminum. Very high strength-to-weight ratio.

Requires no decoration. I find tinsel distracting.

"I have a lot of problems with you people! AND NOW YOU'RE GONNA HEAR ABOUT IT!"

And now as Festivus rolls on, we come to the feats of strength.

That could be taken a few different ways!

I like what this guys thinking...I think. Hope everyone's had a very Merry Christmas.

As for clashing with the hardwood, to be technical it's a laminate. I threw this together and I'm not putting anymore time into it lol. Bring on the new year!

You have the pole. Where is the Holiday stripper to go with it?

I do like the safety bumper on the top.

Your 'tree' is just like your window furnishings, naked.

At least put a bow on it or something.
/embarrassing.

Feat of Strength? Well I'm pretty hyped that I've got a 750 credit score and an Amex blue sky card at 22!

Airing of grievances? **** inane California gun laws

In regards to decorating, it's festivus, it's supposed to be a bare aluminium pole. For the rest of the year it acts as a place to hang a hat, coat, towel, etc. so the safety cap keeps it from stuff getting caught on it. Additionally this was in my apartment while on co-op a year ago, nothing too fancy, but the place did come with blinds on the windows and was quite nice for a couple of college kids.

Lastly, I would pay double for a stripper to balance and dance on that thing.
