haha I try to be a pacifist but when someone throws the first punch at me...all rules are out the window :-D still would be un to enter some MMA matches but the again I gotta be weary of my hands since my career rests on them. that's why weapons are a better alternative to conserve the hands :-D

Bingo! I have been in that area, I know what car wash hes talking about. Myfirstlincoln, its the one by the ice arena.

Yup Puerto Ricans are what dominate that area as a minority not Mexicans. Not to sound racist but Mexicans have more respect than that. Not Hispanic but Latino or Latin Americants.

The ones up in that area get all ramped up on blow and dont think. They care, afterwords but dont think when its the appropriate time.

That car wash is weird. All the misting water gets pulled out of the bay and there is a line of trees and a narrow drive way between the bays and that line of trees so a draft pulls that mist right down to where people dry the cars and vacuum them.


That place always ripped me off too. Ever notice how it skips seconds and sometimes jumps ahead 3? The waters ice cold for some reason. I have been to one in Northampton before on my way back from my sister in laws thats nice. It actually has warm/hot water. Its on 329 just when it turns to nothingness near Something Fishy if you ever been there.

The old dick that owns the one in Hockey is a ass hole also. He chased me out of one of the bays once when I was drying it off so I wouldnt get water spots on my windows and B pillars.
 
No, but thats the stupidest idea ever. Do you know how scratched up that can make your car not knowing how it was treated and tossed around before hand?


If I could figure out a way around that I have thought plenty of times about making some kind of trough like bucket wash car wash since out of courtesy for others you cant bucket wash your car at most places.
 
That's why I bucket wash at my place since my APT complex has no hoses :p took 4hrs but turned out nice :-D
 
I used to do that. I would fill a huge bucket up and dump it over to rinse while using a small one with soap to wash. F*ck that now. Now I have a driveway to wash and a garage to dry!
 
haha ya I hear ya. I did rent a house for a while but the amount you pay for taxes/utilities aren't worthwhile up here. Average house rental is about 3k a month b4 taxes and utilities hit in :p

Microfibers cool also but be even more careful with it. The second it gets something foreign on it its gone! It will kill your paint.

I've calmed down after a night of Sam Adams and some tasty cigars. JWerner, I hear ya...that car wash is weird, but its so close to my house. I usually just wash outside my house, but getting the hose down to my driveway and such is kinda a pain so if I want a quick wash, i hit the car wash. I've been lookin for other places but so many car washes are pretty ghetto around me. I can't tell you how many times I've been ripped off at that place, but the old dude has always been pretty nice to me and given me tokens. Perhaps cuz my dad goes there too and always talks to him. I think he just hates anyone who isn't old - hence the reason he is nice to my dad.

As far as microfiber towels go, all kindsa ish will stick to em. About a year ago I spent around $60 on a bunch of towels and figured I'd have em for a while. I had most em for a few months until they got stuff on em and it wouldn't come off unless I spent hours picking each and every thing off. I recently spent $20 on 1 microfiber towel that is much thicker than my older ones and I love it. It was expensive, but it feels even softer and doesn't have the whole static thing goin on.

yeah when i worked at a detail shop at a dealership they sent the towels out to a place and sometimes they would get mixed up with other :q:q:q:q and we'd get back towels with like sheetrock compound and stuff in em..... very dissapointing...
 
good ol' microfiber but I get the microfiber handtowels for hella cheap and just 2 can clean of a rescently washed car I use 1 for carnuba wax, 1 for polish, 1 for check-ups (gettin pollen off), 1 for clay bar, and 2-3 for washing
 
i hate to help with this thread jack but i use an absorber and i love it had the same one for a few years now.
 
i'd say if he went back and got all his "boys" to come over and you didnt get your ass beat, they are illegals nomater what true hispanic/mexican race they are lol. they didnt want the cops showing up lol.


I worked at a toyota dealership who would have cintas clean our towels. They would mix them up with the mechanics towels that are covered in brake dust and used for any random thing. We would get some back with metal shavings in them, oil in em..whatever.

I work for benz and we have our own washer and dryers on the spot so that crap doesnt happen.
 
To be honest, the city right next door is 20% Latino of some kind ( mostly Puerto Rican and Dominicans ) but if you were to drive around in that city all you see are minorities of some Latino background,... literally. So,.... that goes to show how many illegals do honestly live there being that they are all Latino but yet such a low record of them having residency. A mayor in a town a few miles or so away the other year kicked every one out that is not legal. Boy did that start some sh*t.
 
I have green and yellow mix. I get them at Schucks and got them back on sale for like 3 for $5
 
great thing is they turn out perfect in the wash but I am weary of putting blean in the wash to de-contaminate them thoroughly. But they dry out so quick :-D Hell I could wash my car each day with the same rags if I wanted to

i know, i squeeze it out, and dry my whole car, also they work perfect for polishing too!
 
hellz yeah on the polish...the damn carnuba wax is a messy deal though...any rag will feel like pudding after wiping it on....
 
n00b, put the hard waxes on with your bare hands!

FYI, Target has the best cheap Micro's. Stay away from any of the thin type like the bags they sell at Whale-Marts.
