my 98 town car has the "jbl premier sound" which means it has the amp in the back.....well right now i'm running a 10" :q:q:q:qty sub from the wires the were going to the stock sub and its working ok...i want to add an amp and some new subs and i dont know how to get the power cord through the firewall or how to get it through to the trunk
Another thing is that i will be using an output adapter and if i wire it to run off of the two wires coming from the amp now....two amps would create a problem i think....if any one could give me an information i would really reall apreciate it i need to know the information about the wires that are running to the amp now so if i need to i could cut them off before the get to the amp....and info or suggestions would be VERYYYYY appreciated

for the firewall, on the passengers side there should be a big grommet with wires or something along those lines, run it through there, it will drop right under the blower motor, then run it along the passengers side of the car to the back, take out the back seat (bottom first, then two nuts for the top) and run it thru the side. also get an amp bypass harness from crutchfield or some other store, and you wont have to cut the amp wires, you could just cut the bypass harness where you need to.

what harness would i need? i ran the wire just some 8g :q:q:q:qty wire but how do i bypass the amp?

What is it you're trying to do?

'98+ cars aren't externally amplified, however the subwoofer (if equipped) is.

The sub has a single channel low level audio input (+/-) and a turn-on feed from the stock radio, along with it's own power and ground feeds.
Here is the connector pinout:

If I'm reading your post right, right now you are driving an aftermarket sub from the stock subwoofer amp - but now you want to use the stock sub output from the radio that is currently feeding the stock sub amp to drive aftermarket subs and amps?

That should work fine, splice the stock wiring into some RCA cables and wire them to the low-level inputs to a mono amplifier.
If you want to add another mono amp for another sub later on, just use a set of RCA piggy back adapters or cables

The pinout does say "HIGH AUDIO" though as I recall it is actually low-level. You can wire it to the speaker-level input to your amplifier first to test (as it won't damage it that way, but it can the other way around), if volume levels are normal then leave it like this. If you can't hear anything or it's extremely soft it needs to be wired to the low-level/RCA input.
