Do the umnitza angel eyes completely replace your regular stock headlights or are they just for looks or what?

They have to be installed inside your headlights, as they are sold just as the rings. Depending on the type of sealant you have it can be done by either baking your lights or by cutting to get them open. They will not replace your stock bulbs for light emittance, so they are just for looks.

As bright as they are, they don't project light forward very far at all. You couldn't drive with them or anything.

+1 to both

The led rings are bright to look at but dont have much light output, just for looks and they look sick.

135mm to the outside of the rings for the big ones and 106mm for the small ones.
Just measured my extra set.

Is the big one you measured cut and spread or uncut? Because it comes to small to fill up the opening. You got to cut it and spread it an inch or so.

 I thought these were actually usable during night-time. I guess im moving the angel eyes down in my want list.

the "high beam" ring is visible at night. but no, they dont replace the projected headlight beam. I wouldn't move it down to far, Its an amazing effect to the car and it looks. nothing like the cheap @ss AUDI light strips or any of the complete Halo headlight kits i see on just about every make of car now.

I'll look at the ones in my car and compare them to the extra set I have.
Lightwurks did them but they painted the bezels the wrong color so I cut the lights apart and repainted the bezels
but didn't actually mount the rings.
The large rings are sort of like horseshoes compared to the small ones.
There's about 2 1/2 inches missing from the circle.
I don't think they are stretched but am unsure.
I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I believe you have the CCFL rings, those you can't stretch at all. The new ones are LED's and come in a plastic ring, which can be stretched enough to fit the low beam bezel perfectly.

You guys are talented! I want angle eyes but dont know where to get them at all! I think I need some help with the modification of my LS! Any takers? Dont worry I will definately not bite anyone style just Ideas!

I bought them from Lightwurks 2 years ago as an extra set when they did my lights
that I wound up redoing.
They're not the LEDs and you can see pics of them installed in my pics album.
I never got bit by the LED bug and prefer the smooth look.
But those are the diameters of these CCFL rings.

Get them from lighters on Ebay, they have 2000-2002 rings and 03-06 rings, don't know what year you have. If you don't know how to or don't want to install them yourself, soopa009 is installing them for members. It's not hard if you have gen1 gray sealant headlights, a little more time consuming if you have gen2 lights, but not hard either.

I probably could install them but just needed to know where to get them!
Thanks for the info

I meant lightwurkz on ebay.

Guys, I have just bought a 2004 LS8 and having a LSE front bumper cover painted and installed. I Love these Angel Eyes and would love to have a set installed while my car is down. I'm not confident about trying to cut away the black sealant to install these. IS there a member here that would do this job for me? Are the umnitza the brightest brand on the market?
Thanks.

The answer is yes to one of your questions. The answer to the other can be found up there^
