Here it is, bike number 2...i showed some pics when i got it.

heres a refresher...

Needed Front fairing stay, Windscreen, Front brake pads, Front fender, Belly pan, Chain, Front sprocket Washer/lock nut, Back tire and that might be all. Still needs oil change though.

YZF600?

Hard for me to tell without graphics.

So you fix and flip them, or are you keeping it? I've owned a '95 Katana 600, '98 CBR900RR, '01 TL 1000S, and a few different dirt bikes over the years. Bikeless right now, and hating it.

I'd like to paint the gas tank and tail flat black too. i just havent gotten around to it yet.

I wouldnt say i flip them, but i have been making some money off doing this when i go to sell them! i just buy them for cheap where they need little work and have fun working on them and riding them. Lets just say this bike should bring in 2000-2500...and ive only spent total on this bike and my last bike about 1000-1200$. I'd like to be up to a newer 600 as well. GSXR or CBR, but this bike might do the trick until im ready for a 750 or bigger.

Well, you did the right thing starting off on a sane bike. Not many folks have the brains to do that. I did NOT like my Katana 600. It felt kinda slow to me. But if I had started on the 900RR, I probably would not be posting this right now.

i started on a 58hp seca 2 this january. this is my 2nd bike. its got about 100-102hp so for me its pretty fast.

Yeah, that's what I meant. The Seca is a great starter bike. Well styled and high quality without being light-your-hair-on-fire fast.

The new bike is a big step up. 100hp is more than plenty for a bike. A ZX14 must be un-freaking-real.

my clutch is starting to slip under hard accel. I normally shut it down around 60-80mph if i get on it. Tonight i just hit 110 in 3rd in no time, probably a 1/4 mile. and with a clutch slipping under hard accel...i wasn't giving it all it had. im starting to wonder if my clutch isnt adjust right though. might not be engaging all the way, so it slips. hit about 9-10k and it just jumps to 13k

a ZX-14 or busa or even an R1 with 180hp is just overkill. i need enough to make it feel fast, but not so much that its an issue! lol
