Another weird sound

Seeing if anybody else has this problem. I have a 2002 Lincoln LS with 23,000 miles on it. Whenever I push the gas a little or let off of it at slow speeds I hear a whooooommmmpp whooooommmpp sound. It is coming from the drivers side either in the dash or a little farther up. Was thinking it might be the air box. Anyobdy else have this happen to them?

Nah its when I barely press it. Its weird. Its almost like a rattle, but its more extended. Sort of like if you had a warped rotor or something I guess. Like it makes it in an evenly spaced out pattern.
