i just bought LsUnV2's senta wheels for my 2000 ls but i also have an 04 and i was thinking about putting some 22s on it...something like this guy http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3047768 his ride is sitting tight....would i have to give my car a lift? i have that exact same 04 just w/o the wheelz....

i dont know about the lift, u might need a lil boost in the back, but im not really sure... one thing i am im gonna warn you about - not many LVCers like 22's on the LS, so dont expect much positive feedback from this forum lol - however, i think you should definately go for it! that LS is one of the best on CarDomain - except for mine of course [jus kidding]lol - and i dont see how it could have been that difficult... i think you should even go as far as to get those same wheels...the black inserts on a black car would definitely make me jealous =]

yeah i figured i could keep my 2000 as my daiy driver but i still want my 04 to sit right...and i would love to get that same look he has going on there including the inserts...

i agree 100%...i wanted 22's so badd, but the thought of having to rock 'em everywhere made me think twice.. i went with 20's and im glad i did, i have hit some bad potholes with the 20's and no bends or dents... one thing i would probably recommend, if u get 'em dont chep out on the rubbers...i went with toyos as per some advice from my local wheel/tire shop and i havnt regretted it yet...good luck and post pics if you do get 'em! =]

That actually does look good. But I don't see how he turns more than 15 degrees at a time

Looks ghetto to me. Those will raise the car a couple of inches also.

I thought I smelled an idiot......peeeeeewwwww!

for sure man...i should be posting some pics of my 2000 in a few days...might put my 04 in some too...yeah i ride with toyos now man...i wonder what wheels those are though?...im going to drop by a wheel shop around here to see what i find and see what they say about putting 22s on there...

haha....trust me i see cars like that all the time and its not really what im trying to go for....raise their cars with like 30s haha....i just like the look of his with the 22s...just looks slick and badass....but Andrizzle I see what your talking about as far as turning...it would take me half an hr to make a turn lol

plus tires are expensive and expect your MPG to really decrease, plus the amount of force your tranny will need can wear it out MUCH quicker. your shocks and springs and ball joints will be torn to sh*t plus your car will be as slow as a Prius :p just my opinion

It is not ghetto-ly done IMO. It actually sits flush and they are somewhat tasteful wheels. Now if those were gaudy chrome wheels and it was lifted 5 inches, then it would be ghetto. That looks decent for 22"

well u figure 20s will gimme those same problems?

the bigger you go the worse it gets. Think of " wheels as a waist size...too big means shopping in the Big & Tall section (more expensive) plus health issues. You are in a medium..then you're good. Go too thin (in this case small) then you're nothing but an Emo prick and you should just kill yourself for being so stupid! :p

well i guess so...when you put it like that it would suck to have all that on top of the common ls issues...

i preferably want 19s but that's the largest i'd go.....it will hurt the ls a bit but shouldn't be too much....plus the sh*t our infastructure is in those popholes/speed bumps will only get worse.....

well i just bought LsUnV2s senta wheels...the 20s...u think my 2000 ls will be ok with them?

they'll be good..like I said any bigger than stock and you'll have more issues, just be aware of them. 18s seem to be the only wheel size (not stock) that does alright for our cars. Our LS's weren't tuned for those large wheels though the wheelwell is sized enough........

i wish my lawn was emo. so it would cut itself.

...well u cant say i didnt warn ya...nobody here is gonna tell you its a good idea to put 22's on... my friend put 22's on his jaguar s-type...he was rollin rubberbands but he didnt have to cut or mod anything... and nothing happend to his car

...yes, 22's r heavy...and yes, you are going to have to drive more carefully... and no, its probably not a good idea to mash on the gas all of the time when they are on - however, your LS is not going to break because of 'em [with the exception you dont drive like an a**hole]...here is anther LS on CD with the same wheels... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2413686 ...if u still are having doubts, i dont know what to tell 'ya lol... if i had 2 cars i would have had 22's a long time ago :D

It does sit pretty flush but yet still looks like ass, who would have knew?

They look way to big and beefy for even this car and they still look like they lift the car way to much. Im still not understanding the point of lifting a car just to fit the biggest wheels ( compensation maybe? ) when traditionally most people do the opposite. Dont give me that breaking the mold or being different shiznit either.

Now here is the trick, fit a wheel like that and still sit low. Maybe some of these turds would get respect.

haha...well thats my thought....i rarely drive that fast or like a beast lol...guess i wont know until i do it...being that i drive the 2000 more than the 04 i think imgoing to try it...a friend of mine had 22s on his old ls but he lifted his a good bit and i didnt like it lifted that much but the one on cd is hella clean...but then again im talking about a guy who has a caprice on 26s lol

hmmm your right...i do like my car to be lower...bagged ls on 22s?

Those senta wheels are nice. The 22s look pretty good but i dont think I'd like my ls driving slow like a prius, those hamster looking things.
