my buddy bought some for like 150 shipped to his door for his newer accord and they look GREAT. Does anyone know if the cheap ones are junk and will burn out and be a waste of money? They look good though. Just wondering why some are 150 and some are 400. Thanks
Keith

75 shipped to MY door, ha. have them in headlights and fogs. look great and have had them for over 5 months. no color change or burn out. and if it does, then ill just spend another 75 rather than 400.

Same here paid $110 for 9005 6500K fogs, had them for one year so far no problems, just replaced a few fuses.

130 color changed on me in like 7-8 months but not like it went from blue to white.. still blue and bright to me i like em

i have the cheapos and i've had them for a little under 2 years i believe with no problems. like babbster said, if they blow out then i'll just buy a new one, better yet, they sell the bulbs or ballast seperately so i'll go that route. i have the link to the ones i got if you want it

I paid $220 for both sets...low beams and fogs...about two years ago. Still the same price, I install these on most cars. :)

i didn't find any that cheap on ebay, but will keep looking...

Got mine for $97 shipped, 4300K for best light output.

There are tons of 74.99 HID kits on ebay. Search for "HID conversion kit" and you will find them. All the kits at that price are basically the exact same just different distributers. As for the kelvin or color I would strongly suggest 4300K, but it depends on the look your going for. I have 8000k and I think I would rather have 4300K to have a brighter light output and classier look. But read up on them to decide which color to go with. I have 9006 bulbs in my headlights and my fogs are 9005 with the rubber piece around the light removed to get it to fit properly.

Here is a link for HID's at 74.99: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-...009QQitemZ190213045732QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

a little under 2 years i believe. no problems at all. and there's another member here who also got them from the same company and i don't think he's had any problems. my cousin also has them as well as a couple of my friends, same story, no problems

That was me Rick, but I remember paying $110 not $79. Yae they are great lights thanks man. I just cannot see it feasible to pay $300+ on some sites big rip off.

these are the ones i have http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9006...ryZ36476QQihZ003QQitemZ130173661311QQtcZphoto

bought them a while back and they come with warranty. they have a good output and are really plug and play, color matching and all. worth it and for 78.99 you can't go wrong. i've seen some halogens go for that much

Those are just for headlights and low beams right? Not the fogs... are there any kits on there that come with fogs as well because i cant find any.....

What's this about losing your hi-beam functionality?

Note :
All 9007, 9004, H13 are single beam only!
Upon installing our kit, you will lose your hi beam unction. However, a lot of our customers are willing to give up their hi beam function because with the HID lo beam, it actually covers enough lighting. We do not have the hi/lo for the 9007, 9004, and H13 HID bulb, because the bulb base is too small to mount two HID bulbs on it.

The 9005 HID kit for the high beams is the same thing that you can use for the foglights. They are interchangeable.

thanks for the links guys, i've bookmarked this thread for when i'm ready to buy. will definitely be getting two kits so i can do lights & fogs at the same time.

Those bulbs are the ones with two filaments inside of them. Its one bulb to provide low and high beam. The LS uses two seperate bulbs for low and high, this doesnt affect our cars.
