Yeah apparently the counter guy didn't do his job when he ordered the parts for me. I was able to order the grille ($120) but no way can I afford $1700 for the bumper. I guess if I had it tho I'd buy bumper *sigh*

Yea I recently was in search of the same 06 bumper and found that result. Cheapest was around $1200 shipped. Which is a fourth of the value of my car at this point.
I ended up repairing my existing bumper.
Your best bet is getting lucky on a parts car in a salvage yard. This is how I found a gen2 hood (which is also becoming very rare).

It'll bolt up but have gaps, particularly around the headlights. TO have the right fit you need your replacement Gen's bumper, headlights, and header panel behind the headlights.
Ah so very subtle differences. I know the gen 2 has the side marker delete but isn't the round fog light design different as well (how the opening is) ?

you do know that a 2nd gen sport bumper and an LSE are different right? I think you do, just want to make sure...
I must be confused because I thought the 04/05 lse & sport was 1 & the same then in 06 all versions had the round fogs ( ? )

no the 04-05 LSE is the exact same as the 06, every 06 LS got the LSE bumper and grill as standard.
all of the 03-05 LS's whether they be base, sport, or premium have pretty much the same bumper except for the inserts being either painted or chrome
