Anyone tried this:Turtle Wax Black Box product?

i just tried it on my car. god do i wish i had a digi because the before and after is just sick. i strongly approve of this product. i would by extra microfiber pads you can get em dirt cheap at autozone. also a package of microfiber rags as well. i think it said there was supposed to be one in the box but i didnt have one in mine. so maybe i was wrong who knows. when my friend and i were done the car looked wet in a good way. pretty easy to use . you get 2 bottles of detailer and 1 bottle of "step 1" which is the black cleaner cream. this stuff alone is enough to make the car pop when ya wipe it off. then you add the wax to it after words and then hit it with the detailer again. anyway if you have a black mark. get this stuff you wont regret it. im so impressed that im going to pick up a little orbital gimmick and polish it with this stuff i cant wait to see it then.

Looks interesting. I only use Meguires products (professional series for cut/deswirl/glaze and NXT for wax) and have had steallar results. I can see a wax designed specifically for black cars working well though.
If I had a black car I would definatly order the kit to at least try it out. :)

Id like to see a shiny black one after this wax.

i just tried the ice product for interiors and was impressed

Now I have to get a box and get my hands black. I'll also be using an air orbital applicator when doing this so maybe I won't be getting my hands into it very much. I used the 6 inch orbital with some light scratch remover on my mirror shell and it really brought out the black. I had done it by hand and had very little effect. That little thing really helps out a lot when using the microfiber pads. Like magic in your palm.

That stuff is unbelievable!...Here's a before and after picture.

That's an awesome Mark.

I tried the Turtle Wax Ice on my '96 GEN1 and it looked okay. Not much better than regular Duragloss or McGuire's. And it was a b**ch to get off after applying. So far the best wax I've ever used is Zymol. Love that stuff.

Very interested in this product.

Here is what i did with some claybar and megiuars. Second picture didnt do it justice...it was taken with a crappy camera. I've been looking for a product like this since last year, i heard of this stuff called liquid ebony (very similar as in a wax for black cars) and could not find it last year. Awesome find, i will be purchasing some come springtime.

WOW! Lux that a deep shine:cool: ..Damn!!:D Are they the original lights..their super clear?

Thanks man. Original lights, car has 67k on it now, 54 when i bought it....they could use another polishing..black is so hard to keep clean. :D

Before my Mark was painted, used their black wax with great results. It hid white scratches nicely.

I've seen both merijon (John) and lux's(justin) cars in person and they both reminded me that i'm about due for a paint job. SOOOO CLEAN! Here is a couple recent pics of mine and it just rolled 69k miles:

i have been debating trying this stuff my car looks awesom from a little bit of distance but get within about 5 feet and it has swirl marks all in the paint dont know what to do to get them out so annoying black on black lsc but want it to not have the swirls any ideas?

I'm not knocking on this product cuz im sure it works spectacularly, but why do the products have "black tint"?

Clearcoat is translucent, is above the black paint and is what brings out the shine no matter what color car you have. "specifically for black cars " sounds like a gimmick.

Just a thought.

Again, I'm sure it does a great job waxing/shining cars.

Because the clear coat is wearing off.
