K guys, here's how it works for those wanting to use my materials to wash/wax their vehicle:
Exterior treatment only. I don't have enough room to bring stuff for the interior too. And, we wouldn't have the time.
The only material I'm not bringing is claybar. Everything else I am bringing. Wash solution, wash mitts, brushes, towels, glass cleaner, quick detailer, wax, wheel sealant, tire dressing. If you haven't clayed your car, you should really think about it. It makes a HUGE difference in the look. You can buy them for about 20 bucks for the meg's clay kit at walmart, or just buy a claymagic blue from autozone. both are decent. Just don't buy claymagic red. That one is too aggressive, and will mar the paint. Claying will make your paint smoother by removing the contaminants, and will also help the wax last longer.
Figure 1.5-2 hours for your car. This is going to go quickly. Normally a wash/clay/wax can take me 5 hours if I'm very thorough.
The wax I'm bringing is called Rubbish Boy's Original Edition. It is applied by hand. Meaning you don't use a foam applicator. You put a chunk of wax in your hand, rub your hands together to warm it up, then "massage" your paint with it. This takes about 10 minutes to apply to the entire vehicle. Then it needs to sit for anywhere from 15-30 minutes before buffing off.
Cost for you guys is 10 bucks.
Also, Nic was thinking about 1 oclock would be ideal. I'm going to be there earlier to get my stuff ready.
