I been calling around getting prices for a Flowmaster 40 series install for my LS (got the v8). I had one shop which is very popular here, recommending that I install Arvin Mufflers. He claims it is the same exact sound as the Flowmaster 50 series, and that the company was involved in a lawsuit with Flowmaster for copying the Flowmaster design. Anybody used or heard of these? Most of the shops that I spoke with gave me a price of $90 each for the mufflers plus any miscellaneous stuff.....most prices are around $200 total install. Is that good or can I get these cheaper?
