Asanti Forged Wheels on LS

Well I'm planning to replace my stock chromes with a set of wheels I haven't seen on an LS personally. I've seen them in pics but other than that, have not seen one yet. I'm planning to go with Asanti Forged wheels. Expensive AS HELL! :eek: But I think it's worth it. It's unique. They said since it's a 3-Piece wheel, bolt pattern and offset is not a problem. They'll custom make them for my 03 LS. Staggered Fitments on both models.
Fronts: 20x8.5 Rears: 20x9.5 or 20x9
It's either that or just 20x8.5 all around

They both look great on the LS! What you think?
 
I think that you should know that the lip will not be as wide as those stock wheel only photos due to the offset that these cars need. Just a heads up.

Yea I know! Which really sucks about the LS! :( I'll be satisfied with atleas 2.5 inches of lip
 
make sure the offset of the 9.5" wheel is around 55-60. nice wheels though.
 
I wish I would've been around for that thread. I like the OP's post #4. He tries to eloquently rephrase the statement "I have no idea why 3 piece wheels are so special"

Wheels look nice though. One more vote for the 128 style.

I would rather spend my 5g's on FI than a set of 20's

Nope, not into rims. To me a rim is a round peice of metal that a tire goes on, which is all they are. Your paying for a the name. Yours atleast look ok compared to some others. But its also that same "unequal luxury" that will cause some idiot to put a gun to your head over a rim. My car has the stock chrome 8 spoke rims, plenty of flash for me.

They are nice wheels but you can find nice wheels a lot cheaper.
 
They both look pretty good. But the first set is the best!
 
I like the 128's. I prefer the cleaner/simpler look over the curves of the 132. You're going to end up with some very thin rubber on those. Should look great.
 
I can tell you don't live in NYC. You wouldn't dare but those rims on your car with the potholes we have. You swerve to miss one and find yourself bouncing out of another one. 18's in the city no bigger.
 
Im more into a 5 spoke but that black one at the top looks hot
 
I don't live in the city. I live in the suburbs of Chicago so yea, not that many potholes over here. By the way the offset for the wheels is +42mm... Good or Bad?
 
I have wanted the Asanti AF142's in black since I got the car, but unless I hit the lotto or something, I'm not dropping 5K on wheels.
