ASHAM8 installed. Fresh detail. Many pics.

sweet. Now since I have an investment in the rear I am going to get a ride in the backseat. If it work out with my new battery I can start driving my mark again

Thanks Chris, I read the old threads on this and never saw a link or price.

And in the link it shows the adjust LED panel, so I am to assume this is included in the price. If you have that adjustability with that and lower to the point as Bill has on his Charcoal Mark, would you not have camber issue if lowered to low for driving? I would think that might be the issue with the tires being worn out on the inners that he gave to Sapper and having that ASHAM8? Just a thought, and very cool switch, I previous thought that the write up on this as to be able to slam while parked and raised normal while driving. But I can plainly see that you have multiple adjustability with this.

Cool, thanks again Chris

You just really aint paying attention.

The tires Sapper has are off the black car. The black car is on springs. You commented in the threads detailing all this so I know you know.

As to the ASHAM, yes camber changes when dropped. Thats why you dont drive with it slamed. Pick the height you want to drive at and have the car aligned to that height. Right now my car needs an alignment anyway but when I driv I still drive at stock height since that shows the best tire wear.

But all the front end stuff is new and it needs to be adjusted properly.

I like having the ASHAM cause it allows me to drive at a slightly lower height (after alignment), slam it when at a show or showing off and allows me to raise it if the road gets bad or I am entering a steep driveway.

It has around 50 height levels to choose from.

Yeah I did not pick that up on which car those came from and I was just using that as an example as to camber issue. But WOW, you get that much of adjustability by using that, that is amazing. That will be a job to do when I buy my next Mark here soon.

Bill you mentioned that you set it to a level you prefer and then align off that, is there a reference for you to use to know where that setting is? Thanks Bill, that is nice info to have.

Yes, it has a 10 level display. I know there are 5 levels per bar so like if I want it half way (apx) I put it at 5 bars and then press the up button two more times.

This time though I am gonna align it at a slightly lower height after I roll the fenders.

Question for ya Bill, I read the ASHAM manual and see you can change the jumper to disable the park function. Does your car still drop at 60 and when parked or do you have it disabled?

I removed the jumper. I like the car to drop still.

Really? You are gonna have to look it up to figure out what 7 cars have larger rear openings?

Ill save you the time. I dont fuggin care. My point was the rear openings are lower then the front causing the illusion that the rear is lower when in fact its sitting 1/4" higher.

Yup, All 7 of them! lol.

I know exactly what you mean, it used to drive me crazy on my old Tahoe (2dr lowered 4&6) Had the rear springs re-arched 1 inch just to give it a little rake.

Your new ride is coming along quite nicely. Wish I could say the same for mine.

Thanks mang. Tis a labor of love.

Wish I had money to spend on it.

I found a run long enough for your extension. PM me your address and I'll send it out.

Temp installed the ASHAM in the glove box. I customized the center console to hold it but the dang cord isnt long enough so I have to buy some multi-cunductor cable to extend it.

Wow. Now I know what my car would look like w/ black rims. Always wondered.

That's the stock color right? I thought about painting my car that color for a while. Has a bit more blue than what I chose.

So much work to do before it looks like yours.

Your car appears to be the same color. Its a 98 no? Just needs a detail. I definatly prefer the black interior though.

97. Houston is hell with black interior. Def. Needs a detail. Need to talk to cust.kid about how he polished his chrome. Have a lot of burns from. The da. Also the black trim needs touching up.
