pretty sure that slower acceleration in an LS burns more fuel if youre not using sst. toiling too long in first is especially costly. i would say using cruise control around 40mph-50mph is the biggest gas saver for me. rpms drop when i set it around those speeds. too much lead in my foot.
you forgot the most productive hypermiling technique: drafting
oh and you gotta hate using gas buddy, going to the lowest priced station only for them to have the price of premium jacked up more than .20 over 87octane.. premium prices on gas buddy are never as accurate as the regular prices bc so many ppl only bother to update the 87 price <or the road sign only lists 87 price>
