Now amongst the nearly $2000 in work and parts over the last year, I need a complete new front clip and fenders.....I almost cried when the drunk in front of me caused this. Make me an offer, it's now for salefor those of you that want a Black/Black 98 LSC.

This is why I'd like to install Dukes of Hazard style pushbars on all my cars...

The best I could do was a hitch in the back- that did help in parking lots.

Ouch........that sucks.

I guessing there was no way you could stop in time.

Two black LSCs in one week.....maybe I should leave mine in the garage.

No, cause he slammed into the girl in front, I slammed on the brakes and the ABS fought me all the way too. The guy smelled of beer and he left the scene too. I called the cops and they went and waited at his house for him and picked him up with a cooler of beer in his front seat. I just need a complete front clip and fenders, no internal damage to the radiator. The front headlight on the passenger side is damaged although both HID bulbs are still good, so that's a plus. I just don't know if I am gonna sell it, part it out or try and find the parts to fix it.

42 years old and it's the first auto accident I have ever been in....

Chit happens.

Get in touch with Gman
Look at his thread were his black gen 2 caught on fire.

Maybe you can swing a deal and fix this car...its worth it.

Yes, I agree it's worth it. I've had this car almost 4 years and love it more than any other car I have owned. I still have parts in boxes as I was just doing a little bit here and there on weekends as I had time. Just finished putting a new mirror on it and got an actual owners manual off ebay. I'm sure something will come up, at least now I have an excuse to replace the cloudy headlights LOL

Man that sux. Too many nice Marks getting beat up this last week. :(

that sucks, when i crashed my 98 lsc the damage was almost spot on to your car, except my header panel shattered too. you can fix that up no problem.

I just have to find the complete front clip, the fiberglass is shattered in about 7 places all up in there too. I was already looking for just one fender, now I need both and it seems parts are far and few between here in Illinois. I'm probably gonna part it out, I spent over a year nickel and diming the car together and just don't have the time or energy or cash to do it again.

if you are going to part it out you should just part it out whole to me
that way you dont wast more of your time I will waist my time putting it
back together for a DD

There are several people parting out cars. It would be a shame to part out for such minimal damage.

Well, as much as I love my Mark, I just cannot afford to fix it at this time after everything I just spent on it. I'm going to list it for sale, I'll start here to the people that have made it possible for me to maintain this car. I'll take $1700 cash for the car, it is drivable, it's just that the header panel is screwed from the accident and the passenger headlight is only attached by wires.

Grrr, driving a rental car now, this is getting expensive.
My 97 had the same level of dammage, maybe less impact though but needed a hood. Couldnt sell it for $1000 and if you remember that car it was really nice and fresh out of paint with not one ding on it. I had to part it and made more then I had bought the car for.

I just don't have the time to part it out really. Too much going on, I'm gonna end up trading it in and getting about $500 for it. It's my only car, my daily driver and that's my own damn fault I know, but divorce does :q:q:q:qty things LOL.

There might be some members in your area that would help you out. I would start sending some PM's.
