Deeza is now making ball joints (at least the 14mm) for the LS.

Available thru Rockauto.com for under $45/ea

On a second note, what size joint is needed for the upper arms?

Motorcraft is showing "ball joint not included"
 
talk to me when you have a link for 16mm balljoints for 03's
 
Even thou mine takes 14mm I would like to be able to buy 16mm ones if and when I buy a Gen2. I am going to try to find out how to email that maker. We all should write to them asking for 16mm ones. Get the fire lit under there butts.

They replied with a nice email. All you Gen 2 guys should be happy ,they are testing 16mm balljoints right now! They should be out in couple of months.

The part number LN-G603 is 14mm ball joint and it is dimensionally exactly same with the OE ball joint. There should not be any problems about that as we reverse-engineer the products through the OEM specifications and dimensions and we have sold thousands of this ball joint without any problems in the last 6 months.

well just ordered two of these from rockauto for my 2000 hope they fit
 
just order the motorcraft upper arm. Im not sure why it says without ball joint... But I called ford to confirm and it comes with the joint.

You may also want to do both upper arms at once.

This info is as of about 4 months ago.
 
ok ill order them up, yah i was doing both sides anyway. got the lowers in that was kind of a pain in the ass sence standard universal ball joint presses dont fit. Machined me up a set of cups and got them in.
