ray would be proud of barney . thought that was ray in the fourth photo. like you guys miss talking and the fun we had take care and enjoy the car looking marvalois. jd

me neather, not a big fan of the fart cans on a mark. The car looks awesome though. Was it just the mufflers or did you redo the whole exhaust.

The whole exhaust is redone. 2 1/2 pipe all the way back wit only 1 x-pipe. A long story for that.

car looks great but i'll throw in my opinion too since others did, those mufflers have to go, not only dothey look like ricer mufflers, but they hang down wayyyyyyy to low and if memory serves me your brother had the ray switch in that car which in my eyes would spell disaster for them mufflers. you need to swap them out for some ovals that way you cannot see so much of them, i dont like when the mufflers are so visible. other than that the car is looking very sweet.

Well if YOU ead posts previous in from this reply, he had tips like this on the assanviiitor. HE BOUGHT THEM MUFFLERS. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. I PUT THEM ON BECAUSE THATS WHAT HE BOUGHT. AND IF YOU READ IN THE PAST HE TOOK HIS SWITCH OUT TO GIVE TO SOMEONE ELSE. SO THATS WHY THE CAR ISNT LOWERED. IM WORKIN ON IT NOW. ADAM MADE ME A KIT AND ONLY THE FRONT OF THE CAR IS LOWERING BUT NOT THE BACK. SO BARE WITH ME. DAMN. Im not trying to sound like an a**hole but im doing my best from what I can.

wow i wasnt putting you down man nor did i accuse you of being the one who bought the mufflers, it was an opinion you dont have to do anything to that car that i say at all!! keep it all how it is , its not my car, you took what i said completely the wrong way.

Looking good Jason, now if was can just get the switch to work properly. Call me and let me know when you're planning to try and work on it and I will try to be available. I'd like to see it working for Carlisle.

Car looks great. mufflers, well each to their own. I am glad to see the car looking so good!

Just a suggestion: Maybe the rear bumper cover could be cut like the 95 & up mark's so that the mufflers could tuck up in there?

I tried to get the muffler guy to cut the bumper out but he said he didnt have the right tool. The car was just repainted and he didnt want to screw the paint up either. Adam I tried the switch again last night and its doin the same thing. Front only. Ill just let someone mess with it at carlisle if they know how to do it.

Hey Ray's Brother... You have done well with it.... I had to swap my rear bumper from my 95 to my 94 and visa versa to get my 94's exhaust to fit right.

You are putting Ray's legacy into Ray's Memorial ... Thanks for keeping Ray's memory alive for us.

LOL .... Good thing Ray's not around for this thread ... That Short Fuse would have been lit...

Car looks great and if those were the mufflers that Ray intended then there was a reason other than looks for them.

Jason, it's likely a connection issue with one of the wire taps. Those things are easy to miss sometimes. If it's not working when you get to Carlisle, I'm sure someone or even I can help.

Heck, I need to bring the kit I have for the '96 and install it. After all, I'll have the entire weekend off! :p

Ill appreciate it very much driller. Adam di send me another kit for it so now I have 2 of them. I tried putting the new one on last nite and only got the front 2 lowr. And thanks again to all who really appreciated the car and Ray. I cant thank you guys enough.

I also would like to Thank All for all the good, the bad and so forth for what Ray's brother and his family have been trying to do to Barney since Ray's death, but like his brother Jason said earlier, Ray bought the mufflers awhile ago and just sat here until we found them, so Jason had them put on. We are trying as much as we can do. Thanks for everything guys.

No sound clips of the exhaust at this time. It's not very loud. Remember, we are in Pa and you can't remove the cats so the car can pass emissions tests. It almost sounds like a mustang exhaust. Sorry.

Seeing Barney completed and the vinyl on the back window really brings a tear to my eyes.

Great job guys and RIP Ray

I have never met either you or your brother. I have read posts on here for a long time though. He was obviously very well regarded. I have the highest respect for what you have done to honor your brother. For sure, you have made him proud. With regard to some of the comments made, I believe most are well intentioned. But in the past I have read things bordering on being downright mean. We all love these cars. Personally I've always tried to be upbeat in my comments. But this is a free site to post comments on. Again, beautiful car and God bless you and your brother. Outstanding job sir.

He was mostly all about himself. Thanks for the compliments on the car. We all hope he is very happy. We are trying our best to do what he wanted to do to the car. Thanks again
