Battery Cable Routing

On a 2001 LS V8 Sport with a trunk mounted battery, does the positive cable run through the cabin or under the floor?

Through the cabin, under the carpet.

...on the passenger side, to the firewall. Where there is lug that goes through the firewall. On the other side of the firewall there is then a shorter cable that goes to the starter IIRC.
