Yeah! The BBB is a good start to put a scare to the mother f*cker! Like was said earlier, why do upgrades if you can't drive the way you want to! Where I come from, 5k is a lot of loot! I would go after that bastard legally just to make his life miserable and prevent him from doing again to someone else! That sucks though debi! I hope you get that focker good;)

I hate hearing this kind of stuff...ruins the automotive fun big time not to mention the purse or wallet.

We had a shop here in town (G-Force racing) that was found out to be screwing people also. They were filling nitrous bottles with half nitrogen, Tried to rip me full price on slicks that had the blemish stickers still on from M/T, wrecked a buddies 90 GT after installing 4:10's, plus a lot more.

A BIG push from the local car groups here with word of mouth to the drag strip, street races, our local forum, and wearing T-shirts that said "Don't buy from G-force" ran them out eventually.

The comradery with the the race guys is second to none.:cool:

ok....wanna hear one of the craziest changes I have noticed in Tux since the guys did the gears over....well at least drained the bolts out....(lolol makes me sick, I have to laugh at it.....) the rear end is an inch higher and the check air ride that has been coming on for over a year does not come any more. Use to flash at least 3-5 times in a 30 minute ride seemingly for no reason (well other then rear beng about an inch shy of height for the last year), now the reat has stayed up and the msg center does not flash the display for 5 days now...

and no can't be cause he was jacked up, he was on various different lifts the last two months...replacing the brakes I bought from the Mike Ward Racing shop...and to fix the wheel bearing that may have been making the sound Ive hear for the last year...no it wasn't the wheel bearing...

now how can you explain that????

Leaking air ride line(s) going into the rear air bag solenoids, maybe?

Ask the people who worked on your rear en... err... your car's rear end if they plugged one of the lines in, or something. Could be something they did for you and forgot to mention.
 
Not any more!, light has not come on since the shop serviced rear end...that is what is so weird....

dont think so Frogman ( and HI! to ya too), he would have told me, being a previous 2 time Mark VIII owner himself ( the Lord shinned on me the moment the guy reached in by my leg....looked me in the eye, popped the trunk release and said "pull in..., better shut the air off".....I knew I was in very capable hands!!!! Im still Thanking Jesus!!!!)

I can't belive me and Roadboss have been trying to chase down why the light keeps coming on for almost...2 years....lol (got the gears 2 years ago)...

but since J&J's Auto Glass & Service has worked on the gears (not fixed yet, Tux has Dr's apt the 8th for new gears), he has not:

1- reached temp past the line in A (has been driven for 3 hrs straight and not past line in A but all the way down to WV [May 25] tux rode the M on the temp gauge...but again 2 yrs ago always rode the line in A).

2 - console has quit being a source of heat and melting the radio

3 - mlg getting at least 2 mpg better

4 - air ride acting right now...

5 - drives like a new car even with the gnawed up gears...I guess gears don't like digesting bolts....

Roadboss and I have have checked everything for the last 2 years! I am pretty sure the lines and sensors are good...has not once said check air ride since I pulled out of J & J's Auto Glass on Session Rd in Charleston WV!!

still trying to get the coolant cap off....pb blasting and kroil that thing to death....will try fire as soon as they give me permit to use a torch....sucks...

took nieces bike to gas station to get air....dude being all nice wanting to fill it for us.....BAM!!!!! he blew the tube....lol...what the heck....
