Best Online Tire Retailer

I would look into that. I know people that have them for ever and even have some streatch and the wear is not that bad at all. They are even some of the biggest tires to use in the drift world last I have heard anything from it.

Any way if you are looking for a good tire after you find a retailer I suggest the Toyo's I mentiond. They are killer.

Good luck bud!

Thanks a bunch for the replies, this site is always very helpful. I plan on taking the car in to have them looked at in the next week or so, I'll put up an update when I get word.

Well, I get home last night and my wife tells me that the back left tire is flat. Sure enough, it is. Not completely, but flat enough that when she drove it home and turned the corner, the rim rubbed on the pavement and now it has a nice road scrape on it. So, I was in a grouchy mood anyway, so I took it on over to Sears to have them look at these things. They agreed that it's prematurely wearing, but say they really can't do anything since I didn't purchase them there. They could take it to Falken, but didn't know if they would get any results. The guy then tells me that's the downfall of buying tires online. I explain to him that I realize that there are some downfalls to it, but when I come in to a place like Sears or Goodyear or Firestone, they have two tires to sell me, one is $280 each and the other is some knockoff crap brand for $80. So, he pulls up his stock and finds a nice Michellin for $265 each of course. I tell him that's not in my ballpark at this point, thanks anyway. So, he looks again and finds some more Falkens for $124 each. I am pretty hesitant due to my past luck with these, but am willing to listen. Well, it's a 40K mile tire and I like the tread pattern and at least Sears will now back them up if they are shot in 18 months and 13,000 miles like the ones I have. So I tell him to get them here and I'll have them put on this morning.

I may be a glutton for punishment, but from all the things you guys have said and what I've read online, the Falkens are good tires, maybe I just got some crappy ones. So anyway, $622 later, I'm putting my second set of tires on this damn thing in less than two years and less than 15K miles. Hopefully with these being a 40K tire, they will be the last ones I have to purchase for this thing.

Thanks again guys for the help.
