Best Sway Bars

Try drilling small holes that are just large enough for the wand on a can of PB Blaster. ;) If that works, you can easily patch the holes with a bit of black silicone.

Good thinking man. ;)

I signed up for three sites that cover the Mark VIII and this one is so far ahead of the others it's a bit ridiculous.

Thanks, I shall prepare myself and do a long soak down with some good liquids. I wonder if it might be smarter to just drill the two holes and soak it down from above. I will be doing the entire rear in 6 months or so, well that is the plan anyway.

Thanks

Drill the holes and throw some heat on it. Soaking them did nothing for me. Heat got them off like they were not even tightened. I would even find a good rubber sheet metal plug and then drill the hole based on the plug. I don'y think the plastic ones fit well.

beerdog, just starting a Stella Artois, I'll drill the little holes first, if that don't work the pilot holes are already done. ;)

I must take some more:

Sweet 109,000 mile car with 80,000 miles on the motor. New spring conversion and it's in amazing shape with very few issues. No shudders, goes 100 right away, a little suspension work, sway bars etc and she'll be good to go.

I will put the air suspension back later and do the rear end in a while, I expect next winter. The front too will be rebuilt.

Anyone know anything about the wood dash kits? I need a shift knob and those wood ones Alex makes are pretty nice:

So I thought a wood dash might be nice too.
