Big trip in a few days!

WOW! You certainly have my respect and thanks for all your dedication to safety and quality work. I am glad to hear you are enjoying the time off. I hope to retire from the nuclear world within a coupla years. don-ohio :)^)

Thanks!!
You will certainly like being your own time manager!! It takes at least 6 months to finally realize you're not on leave and you don't have to go back to work!!

Well, we had a REALLY BAD schedule for a lot of years before that. It was a terrible 8hr. shift with 7days in a row ,7 midnights,6 afternoons, etc. It was horrible,Telco. Fortunately for me, they hired a bunch of guys after me giving me enough seniority to get off that Bum shift. don-ohio :)^)

Worst one I ever worked was 12 hour shifts, shift change at noon/midnight. The commander wanted to see everyone who worked for him for part of the day. It was impossible to get any sleep.

The Navy had my worst shifts ever. At one point 63 days of 7 hours on, 5 hours off, 5 hours on, 7 hours off. That was brutal!! At sea there are 3 days; yesterday, today and tomorrow. The down side is they are all the same!!
