Bought my second Mark yesterday

I picked this one up yesterday in Indiana. Spent a grand on it. It's pretty clean for being up north and 170k on the dash. Some minor surface rust underneath but nothing rotted out and overall in better shape than my ivory 95. Polished the headlights today, changed the oil and coolant. I need to do a tune-up (misses under load), convert the breaks (beyond shot) and she should be road worthy. Even with the few things wrong it managed quite well to make the 5 hour drive back to Chicago.

Interior needs some work but, I wanted to change it from the peanut butter color anyways. These are the rims I'm putting on the car.

I see youre using the brights, those headlights look browned to a crisp inside, did the polishing do anything? I like that berry red color, almost looks like a lighter cordovan..how are the chrome 20 spokes on it? Pitted at all?

There were no bulbs in the low beam part of the housing and the high beams had the wrong bulbs in them. The pics were before I did anything other than wash the car. I sanded the housings with 2k grit sandpaper and then buffed them out. Put new bulbs in the low and high's. I still drive it with the high's on since the windshield is smoked. Might jump the 13 and 15 wire on the switch to have both low and highs on when high beams used. the 20 spokes are in decent shape (missing one center cap though) and, have brand new goodyear assurance tires on them.

if the silver is cooked off the inside of the housings you'll never have really bright headlights
