brake light assembly moisture..

Well, I know most of us experienced the front headlight moisture problem, well I have that problem with both of the outer brake lights. It rained here in LA over a week ago and its been pretty hot, but their is still water in there ... can I crack them open and reseal them? Any suggestions? and or advice on tackling the job, don't want to pay 150 per side....

cool ill try that tomorrow when their is some light.... what type of silicone should i use?

I used black permatex for the auto store. I also have a set of 03+ tail lights if you want them. They don't leak...

I just noticed that my right rear brake has been taking in water.
I havent seen the above thread. must have missed it.
you know after 30 days of rain here in seattle, I thought it was just me and the seattle rain. but now I have something to do this weekend.

seems like a common problem for the LS's... happened to me and a bunch of other guys i know... i took the tail light off and noticed a crack, and attempted to seal it up but it didnt work, so i just bought a new one... good luck
