seems like there are two kinds of people on here. Those who know this car bolt by bolt and those who bought this car and didnt realize all the things it would take to keep this car running as good as when we bought it. im the guy that didnt realize.lol my rear wheels are starting to tilt inwards at top and outwards at the bottom.Car doesnt look like it has been lowered at any point. With that being said im not a mechanic but can do most of repairs myself just by research. my rear suspension needs a over haul. i plan on replacing everything in the rear except the rear lower control arms as i think the previous owner replaced them and they still look good. my question is the bushing on the lower control arms are shot. is taking out the bushings and pressing in new ones just like most other cars or is there something i should know when doing this repair? i ask because most threads on here people are replacing the whole control arm instead of just the bushings. Also just this morning my rear passenger window will go up and down like normal except it stop about 4 inches from the top??? any help from anyone who has run into either one of these issues will be much appreciated.

yeah i was talking about the lower control arm on my 2003 v8 ls although i will be replacing the toe links as well.all the parts inthere are very rusty. the lower control arm looks alot newer than the rest so i was hoping i could replace just the bushing on that since i see the lower control arms are pricey and hard to find. are deutsche parts sold at napa or any other local auto parts stores? ive never ordered car parts before and would just rather go and pick them up myself.deutsche parts are the only ones that seem available when i do a google search. but dont know where they are sold locally if at all.

In my opinion and expierience, the alignment of the rear wheel (remember the LS is 4-wheel alignment) is the rear toe links bad/out of adjustment, bushings in the upper lower arms worn. I know it can be costly, but replacemnt of the toe-links;upper & lower arms and a 4wheel alignment would take care of it. www.FordPartsGiant.com is reasonable for upper arms ; www.RockAuto.com for lowers or maybe the Jaguarshop.com/or EBAY; Search the formum using keyword "suspension"; lots ogf great info on this site. good luck with your LS

my rear wheels are starting to tilt inwards at top and outwards at the bottom.

and what is the most likely culprit for the wheel slant?ball joint?

Not sure how bad yours is getting, but these cars are supposed to have a negative rear wheel camber.
