busted grill....idiot in truck

Hi, im not an active member here, but i do come here for advice. I'm a senior in high school and fell in love with the Mark VIII along time ago. Unfortunately I have to drive mine to school, and today as I was approaching my Lincoln, I happen to notice that the flippin idiot that parks in front of me had somehow managed to back his BIG OL TRUCK'S trailer hitch right through my grill! Before promptly driving off without so much as a note that he was sorry.

Fortunately this guy is such an idiot, either he didn't notice or he forgot that we have assigned parking spots and the deans already have him in a file from when he had to sign for the parking spot. I quickly caught the dean on the way out, she came and inspected it, and said that she also thought that he had backed into my car, and that the matters with his insurance for my new grill will be handled on Monday. I was wondering how much a new grill will runs this guys insurance, cause he flipped his first truck into a ditch and his dad bought him a new one, so I know he is paying a good amount on insurance already.

This guy is a jerk that gets everything he wants and doesn't have to pay for anything cause daddy's money handles everything, please tell me this guy's insurance is going pay at least a fair amount, cause its crap that he did that and just drove away.

Beat his ass! I popped some kid in the eye after he hit my rear bumper when I was pullin outta my spot.(of course all kids FLY through the lot puffin on f@gs thinkin theyre cool goin 50mph.)
 
I'd love to drag this guy through the asphalt, and could with minimal effort! I had Weight Training with the guy, he's about 5'8, maybe 140 pounds, I'm about 6'1, just weighed at 208. He dipped in class everyday and just sat around doing nothing talking about hunting with his 'friends' while the rest of us actually worked out. I got into a confrontation with him in the 10th grade when i stepped in his spit and i said its annoying that he just spits that dip on the floor of the work out room, he started up, and i basically told him that if he didn't back up, he wouldn't have to worry about the dip messing up his teeth. He's an idiot, and if he pushes it, a size 12 dent might just pop up in his driver's side door, i don't like the guy already, but now he's pushing it. I really don't want to get in any trouble, or it will look bad in college, and i haven't maintained my GPA for no reason.
 
Get him or his insurance co. to replace the grille first, then BEAT his A**. The grille comes first. ;)
 
I don't think the grilles can be had new anymore.... but you can find OEM NOS ones on ebay for $350 so I would bring that knowledge to the table when insurance gets involved.

Man, I was so desperate for a grille I got one(or should I say 2) from the junkyard and epoxied it back together and painted it trim black.
 
Wait wait... Dont touch him or his truck.. Heres a good one. Depending on what type of truck it is... Try to locate his fresh air intake.. If its underneath the plastic cowl... Find out where this kid hangs out and next tme you take a dump catch it in a zip lock baggy then pop his cowl up and stuff your sh1t on his cabin filter or near his fresh air intake. :D
 
Imo If he backed in to the spot he prob didnt even notice, the 1 gen grill are frail. If he hit your bumper and stuff then he would've noticed. I still feel for you though.

If he denies it, Take the dean out and have his hitch right in front of your grill and see if the heights the same.

lol. Some kid was talkin trash about my car at school and bein a beeotch... But instead of being confrontational(really nothing to get upset about) I loosened his valve stem just barely and screw the cap on nice and tight.. Heres the catch. He lives 50 miles from the school and pulled over to the side of the freeway to change a flat tire. He was being a d bag for a while.. never knew it was me though.
 
thanks for the ideas guys, and yeah, i will think about that with the fresh air intake lol. He probably didn't feel it, but im sure it was his truck, ive been parking there since april and check my parking every day to see if im too far forward or to the side so it doesn't get dinged, so i can safely say it matches, i really do try to keep the car in good condition, my brother owned three Mark VIII's, and was 10 years older than me, and i wanted one like his after he died. But they are really hard to find where i live, maybe 10 on the road including mine. but whether he felt it or not, he has to take responsibility, i know i would have to. I just hate that he had to hit the one Lincoln in a parking lot of 300 spaces, and i need to ask, why the heck would you back up, if you backed into a parking spot? He needs to learn to drive.

Unlike him, I worked to pay for my car, his parents just threw money at him.

Its possible he just tapped the brakes threw it in d and the delay it took to get in gear it crept backward.
 
get a price from ford, it will be really high, his insurance will write you a nice fat check to cover it, cash the check, then go on ebay and buy a used one for 100 bucks and put 250 in your pocket, or go buy lots of weed and get real baked and try and put your grille in!!!
 
Just so you know, the bumper cover needs to come off to replace the grille, keep that in mind when dealing with the insurance co. I would get a quote from ford for the part & labor!

Ok. Yup. His insurance is going to pay you for a whole new car. That what you want to hear?

Now, I know you're in HS, so I'm going to be serious now.

1. Ask your dean (since when in hell do High Schools have Deans????) if there are any security cameras that may have caught the incident on film.

2. Call YOUR insurance agent.

3. Call the cops for a report. They will likely tell you that since it's not over $500 they will not come out to give you one. In that case, get a written statement from this dean lady, then take that to the cops. Politely ask them to scribble something on an incident report form so they can give you (and they have on record) a case number.

4. Take said report to your insurance agent, and tell him to contact his insurance company. (this is where the report comes in, because the coppers will have to verify the kids' insurance, hence your agent will have the name of his carrier).

5. There really isn't a step five, I'm just bored.
