Start installing the wifes new hardwood floors. Bellawood Brazilian Mesquite 3/8". Real wood. No stains. 50 year warranty.

Started 8:30 this morning. Removed all the carpet, tack strips, and baseboards. Did the dining room, living room, hallway, foyer, and foyer closet. Finished prepping all the floors by 1:30. Installed almost 400sqft today. Will finish up tomorrow.

schweet, looks good. Also makes me happy that I'm at work and I didn't have to help...:D

Looks good! Lumber Liquidators I presume. I don't know how they price the stuff the way they do. Unless they are buying multiple containers or something.

When I redo my floors, it's either going to be a hand-scraped hardwood (I prefer old world style, and with handscraped wood, you don't have to worry about dents from kids playing. It just adds to the character) or stone.

I bet it was a big transformation from the carpet that was in there before!

Awesome. I've been working on 25 square feet of tile for about three weeks. Well, barely working on it. You look good at flooring, wanna come finish my tile up for me?

Sorry. I have to tile the kitchen and luandry room next.:)

I've installed some tile (wet bar at my house, a couple displays at work). It's easy. Just time consuming.

Sweet. 94 East to 90 East. Currently 294 around Chicago is under construction so just take the Dan Ryan through town. 80/90 Skyway to Indiana Toll Road. It should only take you 11 hours to get here. To finish my tile for me I bet it will only take a pro like you a few hours. Beers on me.

:D

Looks good man!

Make sure you have a level floor before that tiling.. it's a pain.
