Camthman-no Part, No Communication

Sorry to hear about that Cameron... hope everything is okay with you and your's.

I had figured that there was extenuating circumstances that kept you from completing the transaction. Glad to see it's still legit on your side.

Note to self: In a similar situation it might be good to PM a phone number. That way the seller can call even if he can't post.

Great point...simple solution.

I saw "Camthman" on here last night and figured he would chime in when he could. That is the reason I did not offer my $.02 beforehand.

I was going to PM him last night to let him know what had been going on if for some chance he wasn't aware so that he could take the appropriate action. However, I figured it was none of my business.

You have to watch yourself on these boards...once you've posted (said) something you can't take it back!
 
il feel better about all of this when i get the part and its as decribed and also when it is actually picked up by ups. as of 11 am my time today they have no record of this item being in their hands only that the label has been printed. i was under the missguided impression that you had shipped it yesterday- when do you actually plan on getting it to ups??????????????--:confused:
 
If it was picked up (and not dropped off directly at a UPS hub) it won't show up on their system until it is scanned in at their hub location. So if he gave it to the UPS guy when he came to Cameron's workplace, it probably won't be in their system until tonight. Just a little FYI how that works sometimes.

This happens to me at work and it is very true (and frusterating at times)

sometimes it's ups's fault, they don't always update things when they should, he's explained why he hasn't been able to, and i'm sure it's legit, so i'd like to see that nobody treats cam like he's still trying to scam.

Whenever I ship items to people there are times I do not even bother including a tracking number because I know the item will be to their doorstep before the online tracking has the ability to update properly. vettetols just settle down a bit and try to refrain from jumping to conclusions here.

I agree with both comments above. I too was freaked out when I gave him all that money up front for the wheels, and believe me that kind of money isn't easy to come by for me. And I might have posted something asking about Camthman, but I figured someone that is on here so much, probably wouldn't be trying to scam people. So if Cam said he shipped something, I'm sure it's on its way.

My condolences go out to you and your family Cameron.

this is going from california to virginia so im sure the tracking will be available before it gets here!! fyi i tried the online tracking and then just to be sure i called them and they told me it had not been picked up (it was allegedly shippedc yesterday)all of his personal problems aside he has a history of not shipping things in a timely manner which was revealed on this thread. i also told him that time was of the essence when i bought this so dont be telling me to settle down and not jump to conclusions okay??
 
I wouldn't make allegations of him ignoring your post unless you know he viewed it.
 
wow... pretty inconsiderate of you, vettetols. The guy had an emergency. He had family issues to take care of. Hopefully you get treated the same way when you have an emergency, and someone wants you to do something of way less importance instead of tending to your sick family member.

hey dude, i dont give two $hits what you think or what kind of dumba$$ picture you post okay?? i doubt you have the stones to back it up anyway:D i just want what i paid for coming on three weeks ago, get it?? if you dont have any info or something constructive to contribute to this thread regarding that leave it alone. like i said if and when it gets here in the condition it was stated to be in all will be good---

I completely understand that 3 weeks is a long time to wait for something. Especially if someone is just simply not shipping them for no reason. But that was not the case. When you are on the selling side of a transaction, and you get extremely busy (or have an emergency like Cameron did) a week can go by like nothing. But to a buyer on your end, a week can seem like forever. I understand why you would be stressing, but he has communicated with you. It's legit. Enough already.

And since the thread had to do with the situation surrounding the transaction, I believe my previous post was spot on for being on topic.

The pic was a pretty widely understood joke around these parts. Obviously you didn't get it. No big deal.
 
OH, and fyi, you can say "ass" on this site, you don't have to spell it with dollar signs.
 
Dude I asked you how many times about parts you were selling? It took you how long to get back to me about the parts and whether or not we could negotiate a deal? And now at this point its been so hard to deal with you yourself I don't feel like negotiating anything.


That was something simple, way more simple then dealing with a deceased loved one. You don't even know what loved one it could have been!

Really give it a minute and just lay back, I'm sure he will get back to you not to mention you live in a different time zone and he just started to get in touch.

Ride him on it and he may not do anything at all. He may just settle it with pay pal and leave you hanging till they let you know whats up.

Typically I wouldnt be that mutch of a aSS myself but if I were in his shoes......

Oh I asked about the items way longer then a week ago you never gave me :q:q:q:q for a straight answer. The glory of these stupid little forum fights is that the posts don't go away so any one person can go ahead and see what kind of credibility you have yourself jack ass simply by looking for the thread and seeing how long ago it was started.


I would love to know what the hell reading my other posts has to do with your lack of consideration. Do we also need to go back and view the fact you would like to stay on topic? If so like I said the post don't just delete themselves.

Any other forum would make sure you got your item and immediately BAN your IP and name.. My buddy talked :q:q:q:q about slow shipping for his exhaust on the LS1 RX7 and what do ya know... You seriously have no consideration for anyone else besides your life and death arrival of your part? Just wait till someone you know passes away and your job calls you or you sell something and you have car trouble trying to get it shipped. Get in his shoes and shut the F up!
