can anybody give me some information on this mark VIII

Nice but what grabs my attention most is the BS. There is no 1994 LSC and so its 280 hp not 290 hp. And who puts on light weight wheels, true dual exhaust, gears, and a NOS system and never used it ?????

Allot of MK8 guys say their cars are LSC's because to them are. Luxury Sports Coupe. Also alot of date cards say they are LSC when there not real LSC's. Correct? The hp #'s are semantics 280, 290. How many people get that wrong.? Also car has been used hence the 8.53 times. I know MANY people with NOS on their cars and never use it. It's a bragging thing. It's got NOS, MAN. I might blow my intake if I use it!
 
My window sticker states "luxury sport coupe" when its clearly a base. There's a lot of guys out there that own mark viiis that aren't freaks when it comes to knowing every little detail about them..the 290hp is just advertising bs..you think that the addition of one small ass exhaust pipe is going to give you 10 extra hp? All it takes is a phone call to figure out if the car is legit. It certainly looks cool and sounds like it could be fairly quick.

Frank what did your red one run in the 1/8 on motor?
 
i think everything was listed as an LSC until 95 when it became an actual option.

8.1 I figure a 8.5 is a 13.6 in 1/4
 
I love this "you can't even buy a 4 wheeler for that" ...
But you can buy 2 Mark VIIIs for that if you shop long enough.. hahaha
 
That car was sold a while back. I found it on craigslist, the guy started out asking $3200 I believe, then dropped it to $2500. Had him send me some more pics on my phone, it had a dark blue interior that looked to be in pretty good shape, but the paint was not as nice as it looked in the pic on the ad, the clear was coming off the roof and trunk. He didnt have it listed as a Lincoln or a Mark VIII on CL, it was listed as a 94 Ford LSC lol. He didnt mention NOS or 1/8 mile time in the CL ad, but he did include the line about not being able to buy a 4 wheeler at that price lol. I asked him for directions to the car 2 days after first contact and he text me back that it was sold, never got a chance to see it in person or drive it.
 
thanks 1996mark,i also asked for pics and havent heard back from him. i hate when people post adds and dont remove when cars sold. once again thanks 1996mark, ill let my friend know, hell maybe he'll just buy my 95 now and be done.
