okay does any body know the actual name of this part. ? If yu never seen it ill inform you. So its from a 5 speed manualLincoln LS. ITS WHAT PUTS THE CAR IN IT'S GEARS. so yu got 1 . the selRector/shift Knob.2. shifter/selector arm 3. an a shifter/selector ROD.. SO THis part is what the ROD INSERTS IN THEN SECURED WITHA MINI CLAMP.
it is stamped with a T look in pics i point it out . not sure y . it does resemble a letter T in a way an so it sits on the RIGHT ABOVE THE DRIVESHAFT COUPLING. AN I AM NOT SURE I THOUGHTJT WAS WELDED TO TRANSMISSION BELLHOUSING BUT IT SEEMS TO BE SECURED WITH A DOWEL PIN
i been to all auto stores they a dumbfounded. saying nevrr seen it. i havent been able to fabricate a part similar to it or found a dowel pin that is the right diameter.
Please identify it looks to be the only way illfind it or anything thatis similar thanx.
