Car creaks when turning wheel

I would think you need to get the suspension taken care of, and then an alignment. Once on the alignment rack you will find if you have frame/cradle problems. They won't be able to align it. Unless the cradle is bent so bad you can actually see it, you really won't know.

You might try to X measure the engine compartment, if your out there then you have problems.

Chicken is right on with the strut rods. If the bushings are shot or pushed out from the curb hit, that will let the wheel "move" back and forth.

If you can get it up in the air and take pics it would be a great help.

ill try and get pics up today...

i have the most recent paper work here,

R/F tyre (lol thats how they spelled it) rubbing on inner fender
R/F engine craddle smashed / see body shop

creeking noise (dry joints)

i think im going to hit up a body shop today to see what they say, if its not worth fixing then its not worth fixing ya know. Its probably better i find out now then get in the hole with a new engine cradle and lower control arms just to find out i can't get an alignment because the freakin thing cuz its shot. 50 bucks for some advice rather than easily a thousand dollars in repair just to find out im s.o.l. seems like the right thing to do. I'll try and get pictures while its on the lift over at the body shop. i had my fun with it, but if it comes down to it - there might be a donor mustang lurking around somewhere :)

well they didnt say k-member... they said "engine cradle" so im guessing they mean the subframe.

K-member
K-Frame
Front sub frame
Are ALL the same peice.

You really need to stop "splitting hairs" with those that are trying to HELP YOU. unless you want your questions to begin to have those dreaded "NO REPLIES".

These folks are trying to HELP you and you want to argue over "terminology"?

Seriously a little INVESTIGATION/RESEARCH on your part would have eliminated that whole statement.

P.S. INVESTIGATION/RESEARCH doesnt mean post the same question on 3 different sites and then arguing with those that reply.

why do you post on everyone of my posts with some cinical BS? im not "splittin hairs" with anyone. honestly youve been commenting this BS on everyone of my posts and i don't say anything. now i am, im fed up. honestly i havint done anything wrong or said anything wrong to anyone. but your here everytime with this CAPPED writing and talking trash because i dont live up to your standards. if you see i posted something, just dont open it :)

OOOOO I called the engine cradle k member or k frame interchanged them. YA GOT ME THERE PAL I GUESS I NEED TO DO MORE " RESEARCH"

Okay dude... check it out:

The shop told you that your K-member is bent...

Replacing your LCA will not repair you K-member.

Do this... Replace both LCA's, reconnect your sway bar. Find a good K-member from the junk yard; either install it yourself or take it in to have it installed. Then take the car to a good alignment shop.

Your ball joints are a seperate problem from your K-member... so both need to be addressed. Sorry man, but this is your only option. Just pray that the unibody isn't tweaked! (How you bend the K-member from a curb... I don't know...)

this is what i meant to say - when this person wrote the "shop told me my k-member was bent" i was trying to correct this by saying the shop called it an engine cradle, i assumed they were talking about the same thing and was trying to clarify with NateRW21.

XLR youve been hating me ever since i got a LMS Chip, unfortunately i left those "other sites" you talked about because of the hating. I don't see how this is allowed to go down on this site, but hey ill play ball. It must be nice being 42 years old talking down to everyone all the time. your awesome :)

Oh so you haven't EVER posted the SAME thread on SEVERAL message boards, asking for advice?????

Then after receiving GOOD solid advice you ran and did EXACTLY the opposite of what was suggested?

"someones CHIP" ring a bell?

Then after "not following" the advice you CAME BACK and wanted US to "troubleshoot" the problem you had.... ANY of THAT ring a BELL????

Same goes for the putting USED BRAKE PADS on the rear of your car?
Too cheap to BUY NEW BRAKE PADS???

Then.. putting "USED GEARS" in a car, again
TOO CHEAP to do it the right way, want to split hairs about "do I really need this"???

yea I'm a little cynical when I see someone going thru SO MUCH TROUBLE to not do it "RIGHT".

Dont worry, I have replied to the LAST of one of your "I dont want to spend MONEY and FIX IT RIGHT" threads.... so.. CARRY ON.

Ok.. ABE.. "you can have this site".. I wont bother you any more.

AS I said.. CARRY ON.

Feel free to cut corners, cheap out on repairs.. no skin off my back.
