I noticed my ls overheating for the second time this week only with the ac on. I noticed the a/c kicking on And off for about 5-10minutes before I get any cold air. When the needle starts rising, I can hear a faint gurgling sound and vibration in the brake pedal and somewhat on the gas pedal. If I take off the ac it comes back down to normal. If I start the ac again after it comes down to normal temp, it won't do it again. However, the needle hovers just above the normal mark.

I don't mean to be that guy, but there's a couple threads just like this on the first page. One is only 4 posts down from this...

Sorry about that. But it seems as if my problem had worsened. Earlier today I left my mom in the car with the a/c on (not overheating at the time, 82f outside) to get some groceries. About 4-5 minutes she calls my phone and tells me my car is banging loudly (no pun intended). I run back to the car and hear what sounds like a misfire or One of the cylinders aren't firing at all. The temp gauge was all the way by the hot mark and the temp/coolant light was on and i can hear somethinng boiling under the hood. Anyhow, I quickly turned off the car and waited about 3 minutes before I restarted the car. It started faster than usual but there was no sign of overheating (gauge was on the normal mark, nothing boiling) and no rough idle. I do have a check engine light on now though. I'll get it scanned and repost with the code. In the meantime, does it sound like my thermostat needs to be replaced?

No, it really doesn't sound like thermostat, but it could be.
Main (almost only) causes: Hydraulic cooling fan problems and/or cooling system leaks.
This has been covered over and over and over and over here. Please do some of the suggested trouble shooting steps and then report the results back here. You've been on this forum for a while, and it's hard for me to be motivated to help you when you don't seem to be lifting a finger to help yourself.

left Mom in hot car ? Don't they have laws against that ?

hehehe <grins evilly>

I found out my condenser was full of gunk/road grime so i washed it off with some water and compressed air, however it was still overheating. I looked at the degas bottle and there was barely anything in there, turned out the bottle was leaking as well as a few other PVC pipes. Pulled off the manifold and I also found oil on the plugs and coils. I also noticed some type of moisture on the manifold gasket on the drivers side. it dosent seem to be oil though.

What year car, what engine? Basic info type poop might get you some better answers...

Not trying to be a jerk, but if you ignore the car it will make you suffer. Summer, it's hot out, gotta check the dumb stuff like air pressure and coolant levels. AC takes more than 30 seconds to work, coolant gurgling, engine misfiring? The car is telling you that you don't deserve to own it if you are going to neglect it...

Ever wonder why you see so many road gaters on really hot days? BigrigLS will answer this one.

Well you now know you have to replace - your degas, all of the other plastic cooling pieces, your coils, plugs, your valve cover gaskets and possibly some other stuff. Check near the manifold there are a couple of coolant pipes there as well. Good news? All of this you can do yourself even if you have no prior mechanical experience. Plenty of good "how to's" on here.. just start searching em out 1by1
