Car wont start or even try to click over PLEASE HELP

Long placed that guy on ignore...

Yeah, he's back on mine now too. I had hoped that things were getting better...

BTW, the radio headunit is not one of the modules that PATS looks at for a match. In fact, PATS (in the cluster) only cares about the keys, itself, and the PCM matching up. This is according to the service manuals, and the experience of all of us who have changed, removed, or swapped headunits.

aww how cute, you and jjuncool have matching ignore lists. maybe u two sallies can go do each others make-ups after you jack up each others ls's tonight?

assuming the relevant portion of joegrs post is correct ignore my 2nd pt and follow the first pt. your pats is no doubt tripped and the pats dtc needs to be resolved for your car to start. i still recommend letting lincoln resolve it since they resolve these issues more than any other shop.

pretty sure the head has a security code, but ive never removed it to know first hand and since i never plan on removing mine since its dam near thx certified anyways i really dont care enough to engage in a twitter war with joegr and jjuncool

joegr has been a valued asset to this forum for years. I'd trust his diagnosis (and would most anyone else here) before a troll with ninety posts and a month long membership here.

Damn near thx certified? Either it is or it isn't. And changing a radio won't cause a pats or other security issue. The ONLY type of issue I've seen is installing an aftermarket head unit, and needing a security code for the head unit to work. FYI, you can remove your stock head unit, start up the car, and drive away.

Sometimes it's best to remain silent and appear a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

pektel, really? why dont you join jjuncool and joegr, make it a 3 wheeler?

i never said the guy was wrong this time, he is starting sh*t with me again bc he jumped in my sh*t about a month ago regarding the components that factor into a shift timing and i proved him wrong and it shattered his little ego bc maybe what everyone was saying was wrong, maybe he doesnt know everything about lincoln ls. god forbid..

no one ever said the guy wasnt a valued member of the forum for christs sake. he didnt diagnose anything in his op in this thread, just said he would check some fuses? thanks for the contribution. didnt know i needed to say that everytime the allmighty joegr posts something, thanks for the reminder of the rule pektel, im sure joegr has a treat for you and jj later.

yep a TROLL with 90 posts. troll on mother fcker

i dont give a fck about anything related to the sound system, could really care less. so go bicker about thx and acoustical waves and frequencies and glavin somewhere else mr audiophile, i was givin the op what he asked for, opinion on why his car wont start and opinion on how to get it runnin.

the op clearly has a pats issue. he said the prob is that his car wont start, not head unit. i told him to take it to lincoln and that was the best piece of advice anyone here gave the guy, so on that note maybe you should tell everyone else here, the almighty joegr included, that "Sometimes it's best to remain silent and appear a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt". i was throwin the guy a shot in the dark just like everyone else when i said maybe if he reinstalled his original sh*t it would work. straight up said i dont know what it saves etc., but that maybe it would work.

until you can give better advice to the op then i did, which was take the **** to lincoln bc of a pats issue, go shove all 10000 of your posts up north into your a_S_s

It's spelled "ass." no need to skate around censors.

If I hadn't already got a buzz and about to have a great time in the real world, I'd be all for taunting you to your heart's content. But I have a near full bottle of bulleit rye, a wineador full of cigars, and a great looking girl all wanting my attention right now.

We'll Internet fight tomorrow, mmmmkay, pumpkin?
