Cat converter/Exhaust

Just bought this 88 town car. Still trying to find out what kind of exhaust he put on it, but I was told he put hi performance cats and exhaust on it. I went to smog it and the guy does his visual inspection and said I only have 2 cats on it and his book says I'm supposed to have 4. Any input for those of knowledge would be great. I'm going to try tonight to find out what exactly is on it
