Im currently changing out the spark plugs on my 97 and Im very unfamiliar with the new coil-overs. Obviously, I cant use cobra wires on this car but Id like to get performance wires, maybe MSD. Do they sell coil-overs for this car? Do the coil-overs come with boot and coil together or are they sold serparately? Dumb question i know, but like i said this is totally foreign to me. Also, When pulling out the coil-overs currently on the car, i noticed a small amount of oil on each boot. Is this something I should worry about? thanks

You can get the GMS 4v connecter kit from modulardepot.com which comes with brand new silicone boots and "high performance" wires. As for as the oil goes, it's not a big deal if there's not that much of it. It's quite common on these cars. How many miles on the engine?

So I finished changing the plugs and 3 of the old plugs came out drenched in fresh oil while the rest were bone dry. Obviously this much oil should be present...Does this sould like a head gasket leak or what? Its kind of scaring me.

If you have COPS, there is no need for wires, right? Wouldnt you have to add 2 coil pack and wire them in??

now we are getting too techinical.......to answer uxler's question the cops dont have "wires", espically not cobra-like, they have a small boot with a spring inside of them. as for the oil, change your valve cover gaskets and your spark plug hole seals, or you will be replacing the boots (avil without the coils from ford like $8 each) because the oil will make the boot all mushy and just fall apart and your car will run like crap trust me i know :D

you could take a look at the Nology set that Geno's selling on his LincolnMotorsport forum. Could be cool.
