i don't know if any of you guys seen this but somewhere around june or august, there was a black 03 ls on eBay for $500. The guy said it had been sitting in his barn for 2 years and it would not start. I figured it just need new fluids. Everything had to be all thick and gewy but anyone who knew what they where doing could have gotten it to start. It was only on ebay for a couple of hours. I would have bought it but the same day i had just bout my first car.

thats fraud my man don't even think off doing it. if he ask you to send money first then its a huge scam. believe me have been through the same issue when i first started looking for car

this was 5 months old
the ls was in richmond indiana, not too far from where i live and i got to see it and everything but i didnt have the 500. They guy was a lawyer and he got the farm when his father died. He just left the ls to sit in the barn and when it was time to sell the farm he had to get rid of the ls. it was actually real man, the guy didnt want nothing to do with a car that didn't start. It was absolute junk to him

it had 4 flat tires
it was dusty but it did not look like it had any major scratches on it
the interior had random things thrown in it so the bottom rear seat was torn
no body damage

it was pretty good, it was still worth well over $5000

well id say for 500 it was still worth the try wish i could find a running 03 for 3k or less dont care the mileage id buy it hands down

That's the way things work in accounting, "Book Value" is based on age and replacement cost. Vehicles have no real value unless they are in MINT condition. Book value vs replacement cost is difficult to understand and in most cases it is better to take salvage value and apply that to a new vehicle.

I am sure this lawyer was liquidating the property (Turning it into Cash) to unload it because of the taxes due on a vacant piece of real estate.
