My 02 LS drivers side door makes a loud popping noise at two places when the door is being opened or closed...the sound really bugs me and makes my car sound beat up, and I think I've narrowed it down to a bad check strap...it has a split in the black plastic surrounding it, and the noise seems to be coming from that plastic separating and coming back together. Does anyone have ANY information on where I could find these, or compatibility issues between years?
