The flurries were supposed to continue most of the day... but they didnt. There's a bit of a story behind the school closing though. Last time we got some ice/snow mix the superintendant waited too long to close the school and a bunch of kids got picked up and their parents left for work. Well the busses got to school and they had a bunch of kids with no school. Parents were at work or otherwise unreachable and got pretty ticked off when they were told to come get their kids.
Oh yeah, and people are stupid around here when it snows. My sis sent me this one from up north of Chicago... guess it is pretty cold up there today.
I'll be having my chili soon!! hopefully with bacon.
